Recipe 15:Mihun Soto&Begedil

Well,it's been a long time ago since I put any recipe here.
I still cook from time to time, but I don't put much effort in cooking as much as I did before.
Being a single person,I don't care much about what I consume everyday, because most of the time,it's easier to just dine outside or prepare simple meal like sandwiches.

However last week,I decided to make Mihun/beehon soto with begedil(Vermicelli Noodle eaten with chicken soup malaysian style with potato croquette) because I wanted to finish all the ingredients  in the kitchen ;-)

Turned out my first homemade Mihun soto was quite good ;-)Haha.
Though I have to divide into few sections as making mihun soto is not that easy. That's the downside of it.

A bit of Sea Salt as well(optional)

How to
1.Peel off potato's skin and boil until soft
2.When it's cooked,mash the potato in a bowl,add salt,seasalt,chopped onion/soup leaves,minced meat and mix well
3.Mould the mashed potato in a round shape, size depends on you, should be no prob.
4.Before frying, deep it in the beaten egg and then fry!

4.Put the chicken inside,mix well,cook for around 20 minutes.
5.Once cooked, take out the chicken cubes, and set aside.
6.Put the chopped onion/soup leaves and bean sprouts.
7.Season with salt and/or seasalt
6.Tore the chicken cubes into small pieces as shown in the picture
7.And lastly put back the chicken pieces in the soup
8.Voila!

Sambal kicap(Hot/Spicy Soy paste)

Ingredients
Soy sauce
A lot of chillis :P(or a little)
Garlic
Salt
A bit of Sugar

How to
1.Blend all ingredients

In the meantime, boil mihun/beehoon/Vermicelli Noodles until soft and when everything is ready, what else are you waiting for?Eat up ;-)

Happy cooking!

Hot Bright P!nk

I guess once per month, you'll get to see me wearing color-block.Although in this outfit I didn't plan whatsoever to colorblock again, but,my bright pink blazer and my green bag are so overwhelming that it was so obvious they created a color block scene.

I don't know what got into me lately, but I think I start to love hot bright pink again!Yes,again. In my early 20's,I was a big fan of everything pink.I would wear anything pink from head to toe,my phone casing was pink,my stockings were pink, and yes,my shoes were also pink.

But after some time,I realized,I was not all about pink.In today's case is a lil bit different, though.Let's say, technically I wear something bright to boost a good mood in me,and to make myself feel young again :P
I'm not that old,but believe it or not, colors can boost your mood and make you look younger. At least, that's what I think according to my own opinion.

And,what's your opinion about this?

In Trend : Peplum

Everyone is talking about peplum these days.I admit that I am in love with it too. Here in Malaysia,I found many peplums sold everywhere, but truth to be told, either the quality is quite bad for a pricey price,or the peplum itself is not that nice.

I found this peplum on H&M website, and heard all over places H&M Malaysia ran out of stock of this cute affordable piece,so I asked my bf to get me one from Germany :P

And,I love it to the bits!Thank you sayang

I wore this peplum with kurung mermaid bottom to a friend's wedding and tell me what you think!

Playing Tourist at Colmar Tropicale,Bukit Tinggi

On my way back from Kuantan,I had a stop at Colmar Tropicale,Bukit Tinggi Pahang. This is my second visit since last 2 years I went there with my sweetheart.

When I was still studying in Japan,I have a friend who was also studying in Colmar,a small city in France, and when I got back to Malaysia,a small "Colmar" exists, though I don't contact my friend from real Colmar anymore :P

As for the outfit,I chose to wear all black and white from head to toe, thus I name it "Black and White Day" :P

About 15 minutes after our arrival at Colmar Tropicale,it started to rain cats and dogs and we had to wait for at least 20 minutes, before we could explore the place and later on we proceeded to the next destination which is Japanese Garden and lastly Rabbit Park!

Overall,we had so much fun!
