Salam Ramadhan

Salam Ramadhan to all readers!
Today we went to halal shop to stock up our fridge with chicken, meat and etc,but came home in despair as the shop was so packed with people who obviously wanted to stock up their fridges too :P

It's ok,we shall come back again one of these days and lets hope and practise no food waste this whole Ramadhan.

After all,Ramadhan is not just about the food feast, but it' s more of how we practise moderation in our life and at the same time, try to strengthen our ibadah to God.

Till then.

Health and Beauty Routine in Pregnancy

Along this pregnancy,I always put in mind to take the best care of my health and to minimize any  side "income" that many pregnant ladies are prone to like stretch marks, water retention and etc.

Especially in the 3rd trimester, once the stomach expends bigger, the stomach oil massage is necessary for me each day after shower.Just few drops per day to avoid stretch marks and dry skin around the belly area. These products I use are the same products from Johnson, except known with different names here.

Another type of massage that I have started doing since this week is Perinium massage using this Waleda massage oil. This is the brand as suggested by my mid-wife,but you can also opt for other type of natural oil like virgin coconut oil,or olive oil.Since I am aiming to do the birth delivery as natural as I can, this massage is also very important in order to mnimize the tear at the perinium area during the delivery.

Other than that, the supplement that I have been taking since before I conceived is this multivitamin suitable for conceiving women, pregnant women, even breast-feeding woman. And,I have also been taking this Pomegranate juice as I read that Pomegranate juice is very good for pregnant lady and for the good health of the baby.

Last but not least,I think it is very important too to fill ourselves with a lot of pregnancy and delivery knowledge. It is not a simple thing,so a lot of reading will help to open our mind in the preparation of welcoming another Allah's servant to this world.

Intimidation always comes in my mind, but I always think that this is a jihad for me to bring a new human-being into this world,so that makes me become positive and each day,I cannot wait to experience this delivery.

Pray and wish me luck,friends!

Lastly,Selamat Menyambut Ramadhan Kareem to all friends all over the world,we'll start the first day of Ramadhan here on Sunday!

Vineyards

Salam guys,
Ramadhan is coming pretty soon and I am so thrilled to celebrate it.But,there's one but.At first I wanted to try at least fasting for few days, which fasting period here is up to 18 hours per day.

I have been thinking about this many times lately, the time when the fasting month comes,I will be in my 36th week, and at the end I was just not so sure about it.Of course,I have an exception not to fast and thinking about the life I am carrying in my womb should be my number 1 priority now.

Just like yesterday, when i had my lunch late, the baby started kicking so hard until she kicked weakly, and still I didn't have my lunch(due to some reason).Even after I started on my lunch, she didn't kick me anymore till evening which left me in worry, all I could do was crying until she started to kick again weakly.

Well,if it's the best for my baby,I think the best thing to do is not to fast,at least I will try,but if she cannot stand it,I have no choice.

So,I have around 7 more weeks till she arrives. We are so happy, yet nervous and scared at the same time, but of course, our happiness is on top of everything.

These days in the evening,my husband and I will go for some walking at the places nearby, forests, vineyards, parks just to get some fresh air and also I want to do more exercises these days before she arrives.

And the best thing is,my mom and sister are coming over next month. Can't wait!

Till then.

A Little Sightseeing and Husband's Birthday

I have finished my German course that I took since October last year last week.It was a hard time to finally say goodbye to some friends though we can actually contact each other and arrange for a meeting somewhere someday.

Anyhow,I am happy that I will have more time for myself and I am planning to do more things till the baby pops out.

On Saturday,my husband turned 29th and I made a simple Victoria Sponge cake for him and later that day we went for a little excursion to an old castle not far from Stuttgart, and as my husband forbided me from cooking that,we only ate outside in an Indian Restaurant.

However, the Summer is really here and it is so hot these days,oh,I miss kinda hot days as in Malaysia :P

Now have to get used to that again.

Till then.

Kinderdijk,Holland

Salam guys,
Still remember last time I did mention about our trip to Holland? It was during the Easter Holiday and I was around 6 months pregnant that time.
Well,Holland is very beautiful and for me,it's completely different than Germany eventhough they are just next to each other.

We found out that language barrier is not a problem at all in Holland because mostly everyone can speak English here, even old woman working as a train conductor. It just made my life easier :)

On the first day we went to Kinderdijk,a tourism place famous for classic windmills. What Holland without windmill, right?I think we went there in the right season, because flowers blooming everywhere, and the other big reason why we came to Holland is because we wanted to visit Keukenhof, the infamous Tulip garden in Europe.I will blog about it soon.

Till then.

Stay Active

One keypoint that I set in my mind during this pregnancy is try to be active throughout this whole journey.

Alhamdulillah,I am granted with good health and I have been keeping my life relatively active so far.I do housechores everyday and will have at least 30 minutes of walking each day.
I`ve heard a lot people say that that doing a lot of walking will ease the process of delivery.

Speaking of which,I am already intimidated by the idea of giving birth, the pain I will go through that no one can help me but myself. But thinking of that makes me become stronger and I keep telling myself that I can do this and will always think positive about it :)

Today we went for a walk  up the hill and I swear,my waist hurt so much I could only walk with the lowest gear and up until now I still feel it at the waist area.Oh,my,maybe this is the waist pain in the pregnancy that they always talk about.Sleeping for me these days is also no more fun :(

Till then,peeps!
